Before you install InterDirector

InterDirector needs an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 15 or later. Everything it needs to run is inside the app — including NDI, FFmpeg and SRT.

Using a Stream Deck?

Install the Elgato Stream Deck app (6.4 or later) first. This installer then adds the InterDirector plugin to it. If you install Stream Deck later, InterDirector adds the plugin the next time it starts.

Only if you use this hardware

• Blackmagic DeckLink or UltraStudio — install Blackmagic Desktop Video.
• NDI HX sources (many PTZ cameras and phone camera apps) — install the NDI HX Driver from NDI Tools. Other NDI sources work without it.
• Audio effects — install your VST3 plug-ins.

These are other companies' drivers and cannot be included in this installer. They can be installed before or after InterDirector.

The first time InterDirector opens

Allow Camera, Microphone and Local Network when macOS asks, then quit and reopen InterDirector once so it can find NDI sources on the network.
