2.33.5

2026-10-27 · build 2602

Fixed

  • Replay plays every clip at its own speed, whatever the Show's frame rate. A clip recorded at 50p played its picture in slow motion, its sound at normal speed, once the Show had been changed to 25p. It now skips the frames the Show cannot show, and a replay already playing follows the Show's new rate at once.

  • Composites follow a change to the Show's frame rate while they run, rather than drawing at the old rate until they are started again.

2.33.4

2026-10-27 · build 2600

Fixed

  • A Camera input's sync delay works with every device. Some capture devices, a Blackmagic device added as a Camera among them, give their pictures times that do not match the Mac's clock, so the delay held nothing and Sync Cameras and Audio measured them wrong. Such a camera's pictures are now timed as they arrive, and the Show's journal says so.

  • A source's settings follow a delay changed elsewhere. With the settings open while Sync Cameras and Audio set that source's delay, the settings kept showing the old one, and their Apply could put it back. A delay set in a source's settings is now written to the Show's journal too.

2.33.3

2026-10-27 · build 2598

Fixed

  • InterDirector no longer crashes as it quits with NDI sources or NDI output running. NDI is now shut down before InterDirector exits.

  • Very large images no longer slow down Program. An Image input's picture is kept no larger than it is shown, following its own Fit, Fill or Stretch, so a big logo or a long strip of text fitted to the canvas costs far less to draw. The files on disk are not changed.

2.33.2

2026-10-27 · build 2595

Fixed

  • Program no longer drops frames when the Mac's graphics are briefly busy, as they were with many NDI cameras, overlays on air and quick cutting. Program's picture now reaches the outputs one frame later.

2.33.1

2026-10-27 · build 2593

Fixed

  • Program drops fewer frames with many NDI cameras. Their pictures are now prepared just below Program's own timing, so Program comes first when the Mac is busy.

2.33.0

2026-10-26 · build 2591

Changed

  • Replay fades onto Program and back off it over its own Crossfade time, the one set for its clips in the replay panel, so the way in, between the clips and the way out match.

Fixed

  • Play every replay bucket no longer freezes InterDirector. With many clips in the buckets, it opened every clip at once: the picture stayed on the first frame, and pressing play again could stop the sound and the picture and leave InterDirector unresponsive. Replay now opens only the clip playing and the next, and closes each as it ends. A clip that cannot be read is said in the Show's journal.

2.32.0

2026-10-25 · build 2588

Added

  • Sync Cameras and Audio lines up cameras without a sound: choose None — cameras only as the Sound, and the cameras are timed against each other from the phone's flashes. The latest camera keeps its delay and the others are held back to meet it; no sound's delay is changed. A Show saved with this version opens only in this version or later.

  • Move all by, in Sync Cameras and Audio, moves everything lined up together by the amount you type, later or earlier, once: the reference and every ticked camera and sound, or with cameras only every ticked camera.

2.31.1

2026-10-25 · build 2585

Fixed

  • Sync Cameras and Audio no longer measures a camera about 1.4 seconds out. The pattern the phone flashes and beeps could line up with itself half-way at that distance, and a camera that missed a few flashes was then measured there, every time. The pattern is new, and lines up with itself only one way; a measurement is offered only when it clearly beats every other. The sync page at interdirector.com/sync now plays the new pattern, which an earlier InterDirector does not recognise, so update to this version to use it.

2.31.0

2026-10-23 · build 2582

Changed

  • ReCast's hours start when a key first starts ReCast, not when it is bought, so you can buy them ahead of the show; a key is started within a year of its purchase. A key added with Add Hours… adds its hours after the ones already running, so it can be entered any time before they end.

2.30.0

2026-10-22 · build 2578

Added

  • Stop the show (rec & stream), in the new Outputs menu or with ⌃⌥⌘.: stops streaming, the recording, input recording and NDI, and ends ReCast, in one go, leaving the external displays on. It asks twice before anything stops. Also on a Stream Deck key (Output ▸ Stop the show) and in Bitfocus Companion (module 0.1.23), which ask the same two questions on the Mac.

2.29.0

2026-10-22 · build 2572

Added

  • The Licence window links to the licence agreement, the terms of sale and the privacy notice for customers, below its note on what the licence check sends.

Fixed

  • A new or updated audio effect works in the first Show you open, with no restart. InterDirector now reads new and updated effects as it starts, before the startup window, with a window showing the progress while it reads; a launch with nothing new shows nothing and does not wait.

2.28.0

2026-10-22 · build 2538

Changed

  • A network input's phone QR codes open from a button, InterDirector Cam QR Code… or Larix QR Code…, in a window of their own, so the large code no longer pushes the input's settings down. An NDI input no longer shows a QR code.

  • A new network input starts as SRT, which comes first in its Protocol choice, ahead of RTMP and RTSP.
