Cut marks. While Program is recording, a key, a Stream Deck button or an automation rule can mark "cut here". A short notice under the toolbar says "Cut mark 4 at 01:12:33", or why no mark was taken — there is none while Program is not recording. Each mark is saved beside the recording as you take it, in a file named after it, so marks survive a crash.
Tools ▸ Cut Marks… opens a window listing every marked recording in a folder — the recording folder to start with, or any folder you choose — and the one recording now. Each recording shows its pieces and the marks between them; move a mark a second at a time, type its time, or remove it. The recording itself is never changed.
Export Pieces… in the Cut Marks window writes each piece of a finished recording as its own file, in a folder you choose, numbered in order. The pieces are copied rather than encoded again, so the export is quick and loses nothing, and each piece starts on the frame where its mark is.
Program on several displays. The External output's setup now lists each display, and each can show Program with its own scaling — a projector for the room and a monitor for the stage at once. A display that disconnects stops on its own and the others carry on; one you chose that is plugged back in shows Program again.
Preview on a display of its own. Set any display to Preview in the External output's setup and it shows exactly what your Preview monitor shows, full screen, with PREVIEW and the source's name in a corner so nobody mistakes it for Program. It starts and stops with the External button, together with your Program displays.
Changed
Shows saved by this version open in this version or later. Earlier versions cannot open them, because of the new cut mark action; keep this version on every Mac that runs the same Show.
Fixed
A crash that could follow a change to Replay during a show, such as adding or removing a bucket. It happened once in a six-hour production, three hours in.
Changing a Replay setting no longer empties the replay buffer. Adding, renaming or removing a bucket, or changing the capture length, playback speed, crossfade or Play as overlay, used to restart the buffer and lose what it held. Only changing the buffer's own length or quality still does, as it must.
An SRT passphrase is saved as you type it. It used to be saved only when you pressed Return or left the field, so one typed and not confirmed was not used, and the stream went out unencrypted.
